Wind Bands Association of Singapore (formerly WASBE Singapore) is a non-profit organisation that relies heavily on donations from well-wishers to provide world class programme that is affordable and accessible to our young band members.

While many organisations provide exposure to stir appreciation for music, WBAS believes that developing those who holds a true interest in music is equally necessary.

Band activities are well-known to build attributes and characters that are essential for the growth of our young people. Band activity is also one of the most significant music activities in Singapore having an annual membership of 10,000 students and many young adults.

The regular band activity teaches our student important life lessons of resilience, team spirit, responsibility and commitment. Since its introduction in 1965, the band programme has groomed over 100,000 students, including our Prime Minister, Mr Lee Hsien Loong.

Over the years, our programmes have benefited many band members. In 2006 alone, we have brought insightful workshops and events to over 1,700 young band members.
